Given what we have discussed about the changes in the game over the course of the past 100+ years –  as those changes are reflected in the history of the game that we talked about in week 2 and as they are made clear in Shoeless Joe (the movie), would you argue that baseball is better off today than it was at the turn of the 20th century or not? Give concrete reasons for your response – and anchor those reasons in what we have discussed in class and what you gleaned from your reading of Kinsella’s novel.
