You will need to submit two potential topics for your Final Visual Essay. Your topic selection should be approximately 250-300 words and include the following (and follow this format):
TOPIC 1
1) Brief title of your topic
2) Two facts as to why this is important for you/our community/the society.
3) Two scholarly or general sources discussing this topic, with a brief explanation of what each source contributes to your project. Be specific (e.g. statistics, background, etc.).
4) One potential “call to action” for your viewer.
