Project Assessment

Overview

In this module/week, you will learn the value of “Project Assessment” (i.e., evaluation). Most Grant Makers expect an evaluation plan to include indicators of success/failure (i.e., qualitative, quantitative or both, that are clearly stated in the proposal).

You will also learn grant budgeting. The 2 major elements in a grant budget are the budget narrative and an itemized budget summary, and both budget components need to be aligned with the Project Description objectives.

In summary, the Project Description provides a picture of your proposal in words. The Budget clarifies that picture with numbers.
