These entries should not include summary of the film you chose to watch, but should examine your film’s relations to the theorist you choose, to our examination of theoretical ideas and insights we outline in general, and/or to the assigned readings. They should also include close attention to the film’s specific formal and stylistic elements; that is, some of the following: mise-en-scene, screenplay, acting, setting, costume, lighting, editing, genre, sound, color and how those interact with, exemplify, or complicate your interpretation of the film and theorist’s(s’) work. These entries should be short and sweet.
