Blackberry sued Facebook over a patent infringement alleging that Facebook Messenger wrongfully infringes on Blackberry’s own Messenger application. Blackberry claims that Facebook and its subsidiaries copied substantial portions its security, user interface, and other functionalities. Match, a dating app company, has also brought a patent infringement action against Bumble. Apparently, Bumble has copied certain features of Tinder (a subsidiary of Match).
