Take a look at p. 91  and the checklist on p. 92 for information about the essay, which must include all the usual essay components: MLA formatting, informative title, clear thesis, body paragraphs with specific topic sentences and development with supporting evidence and argument, and an effective conclusion. You must also include acknowledgement of the opposing point of view using the language of concession and refutation lesson.

(a) Your issue, question at issue, and thesis

(b) Your principal argument set out in a standard form (see Chapter 3)
