Steps of Summary Process:

Choose your short story.
Read the short story you choose several times, annotating.
TITLE: Title will be (depending on short story you critique): A Summary
of author’s “title.” For example if you wrote about Hawthorne’s “Young
Goodman Brown,” your title would be A Summary of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s
“Young Goodman Brown.”
Write a one-page (150 words minimum ) summary of the short story. Work
only with the major points of the story. Remember that a summary must be
cited or you are plagiarizing.
Submit the paper to Canvas using VeriCite. This is for both online and on-campus students.
Submit the following in one attachment (for online students, you will
simply submit the entire paper to VeriCite in the following order. You
are then finished.
