In the corporate world, bigger is often better. When it comes to memorable, industry changing companies(Microsoft), the more intricate plans often win out. We tend to think the same with mergers and acquisitions. Some mergers are successful, so successful, in fact, that we can’t remember a time when the two companies were distinct. Some examples would be Disney and Pixar, J.P Morgan and Chase, and Youtube and Google.
