find the plot interesting? How well did the exposition create interest
in the story? What part of the story was its climax? What was at stake

(the story and its author) and provides a thesis presenting your opinion
on how interesting this story was, identifying which of the above
elements (plot, character and setting) were most important in
determining the success or failure of the story.Write body paragraphs
developing the above issues. Remember to utilize the T.E.S.T. in
paragraph development. Do you have a strong topic sentence? Is it
developed through elaboration and evidence? Do you provide a summary
sentence at the end restating the paragraph argument? Do you use
transitions throughout?Then, consider the DRAPES in revising/improving
the paragraph. Are there quotes from the story that will help support
your arguments and interest the reader? Are there quotes from “outside”
the story that will help you make a point and generate user interest in
your paragraph? Are there rhetorical questions you can ask your reader?
Can you use analogies (similes and metaphors) to generate interesting
sentences that make your paper more than a police report? Can you
relate personal experience, whether life experience or other creative
works, into your discussion? Is there external evidence you can tie into
your discussion? Are there any statistics (numbers) you can use to
help make a point?Then comes a concluding paragraph where you restate
your overall argument and you end with a hook (quotation/
question/provocative opinion statement/interesting background
details/anecdote/statistics) so that the paper itself resolves in an
interesting fashion.Generate a title in the provocative title: prosaic

double-spaced in MLA format
