To launch the rich dialogue that is expected throughout this course, choose a company that has been recognized recently as successful and is owned outside of the United States. Then in an original post, present well-written answers to the following questions:
1. How has your chosen company performed against the common elements in successful strategies? (See Figure 1.1 in the textbook required reading to review the common elements.)
2. Describe your chosen company’s strategy in terms of competing in the present and preparing for the future. (See Case Insight 1.4 in the textbook required reading for an example.)
Respond to at least two other members of the learning team by providing a critique of the understanding of the elements and how those compare with your own chosen company. Identify the sources that support your critique.
