*Submit a 1 page research proposal (question, data source)
*Carry out that research project analysing secondary data and using SPSS software
*Cross sectional analysis (data should relate to the same point in time)
*Write and submit a 2000 word research paper
– COMPONENTS OF RESEARCH PAPER:
*Structure of a research paper as an example (happiness of cities):
*Introduction (what is the aim/why is it interesting)
*Literature review (what do we know already and how your question relates to what we know already)
*Conceptualisation (how are you going define your terms)
*Methods/strategy (how did you find an answer to your question)
*Findings (including descriptive stats)
*Conclusion (did your findings confirm/falsify existing knowledge)
