Our esteemed host is: Lewis Kang’ethe, UX / Product Designer
Lewis is a UX Consultant focused on designing interfaces and experiences on a global scale. He describes the design world as fascinating due to the constant changes which motivate him to find reliable design solutions for businesses and users. He believes that a great design solution requires one to spend time with the real users to understand the real problems since they are the authors of their stories.
Lewis has worked with startups, agencies and corporates in various industries including Safaricom Alpha Innovation Lab, Cellulant, Kazi+, Capital FM, Skyline Design and ARK Africa. He is a co-organizer of two communities: Facebook Developer Circle and ProductTank Nairobi which he has helped to grow the community from 50 to 800 since 2018.
In his downtime, he engages in other awesome activities like hiking and mountain climbing. He has summited over 10 mountains including Mt. Kenya and Mt. Kilimanjaro. You can read about these escapades and his strong opinions on design and other trending issues on Twitter @ngeshlew.
