In this proposal, you will check in with me about your overall plans for this project. This draft is not a contract, as you will be able to change your plans somewhat if you need to. However, I suggest you take this assignment seriously; I will be able to collaborate with you much more effectively if you complete it as thoroughly and thoughtfully as possible.
FORM: I will provide you with a template( check uploaded files) for this assignment. Remember, you are not locked in to the choices you make in this template; for example, you can (and should) evolve your main argument from the initial thesis you write for this draft. It is fine to be tentative in your answers, and even to ask questions; however, as I said in the previous paragraph, the more seriously you take this assignment, the more you and I will be able to productively collaborate to set you up for a successful final paper.
EXPECTATIONS: You will be graded on the thoroughness of your answers to the questions on the template; please note that the spaces between the questions on the template are not an indication of the length your answers should be. It will obviously take more space provided to answer each question thoroughly. You are also expected to write formally and concisely, and your grammar choices should adhere to the standards of academic English.
