Before the first class meeting students will write an initial 2-3 page essay expressing your current thinking regarding this question:
- What do you believe the role of the nonprofit sector currently is in American society today?
This essay should be a current reflection of students’ own thoughts entering the class and not based on specific readings or research.
It is expected that all work is original for this class and not a revision of prior or current assignments done for other classes.
This paper should be typed, double-spaced, and use a 12-point typeface. Students should place their name, the date of the assignment, and a page number in the upper right hand corner of every page as a header.
